    Cellars is a bit of a gem. A rarity in that its a bar with lots of character. Its also a venue for live bands and open mic nights, but more on that in a second

    The bar area is cosy and comfortable - there are a host of beers available to choose from, from the more common found everywhere beers to guest ales and other rarities which are seldom seen.

    The meals served at cellars are also very nice - well made and tasty without being too fancy, certainly one of the better places to eat in the Scarborough area for bar meals, with the prices being very acceptable.

    Service is quick and friendly, and theres a real 'local' vibe to the place which is rare to replicate.

    As mentioned, also known locally for the live music. Scarborough is not well known for its music venues, but Cellars certainly stands out as a worthwhile visit, whether you're a fan of music or beer.

    Enjoyable, but slightly over priced Sunday lunch (7.25). A very pleasant pub with restaurant above. It has a wonderful location which is far from the madding crowd so the idiot quota is relatively low. Unfortunately it does have a big sports screen so the usual, baying fat boys, who think they could play better, do tend to take the edge off the evening somewhat. They serve real ales as well and the landlord would appear to be a competent cellar person.
    Live music once a week and a quiz on Tuesday
